Steve met Brian in 1998 and with Clay Wallace on drums they formed Butch Wax & The Flat Tops. Steve got his start by learning Wabash Cannonball for his dad and he never looked back! He played with the '58 Del Rays and opened for Rev. Horton Heat. After playing with Brian & CJ in the CBS Trio he joined the Stunning Cunning Band and he eventually lured Brian back into playing again. He keeps his chops up by playing bluegrass but nothing beats loud, fast Memphis rockabilly!
